Pune road rage case gets viral, the car driver punches woman in the face after chasing her for 2 km.
A 27-year-old lady was viciously attacked by a car driver during a road rage incident on Pune’s Baner-Pashan Road. The victim, who was on a two-wheeler with two children, was trailed for two kilometers before being attacked.
On Saturday, police said that a 27-year-old lady was “violently” beaten by a car driver on Baner-Pashan Road in Pune during a road rage incident. Both the accused driver and the woman who accompanied him have been arrested.
The woman, who was on a two-wheeler with two children, claimed the motorist stalked her for two km before assaulting, causing significant injuries and nosebleeds.
The woman recorded and shared an Instagram video outlining the assault, seeking justice and raising worries about women’s safety in the city. Since then, the video has gone popular across social media sites.
“A man was speeding by us for two kilometers, so I tried to maneuver my car to the left to escape him. Despite his risky driving, he made a left turn, jumped out of his car in rage, and assaulted me, striking me twice and pulling my hair. Here’s what occurred. I have two children. “Anything could have happened,” the woman stated in the video.

The accused is charged under Sections 118(1), 74, 115(2), 352, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicle Act. The cops stated that the case had been lodged at Chaturshrangi Police Station.
The event occurred just two months after a 17-year-old who was reportedly intoxicated slammed his Porsche into two 24-year-old techies in Pune, killing them instantly. He has since been released on bond. To fulfill his bail conditions, the child submitted a 300-word handwritten essay.
Last week, the 25-year-old son of a politician in Pune, who was reportedly inebriated, slammed his SUV into a poultry truck while driving through the city, injuring both occupants seriously. He fled the scene but was eventually arrested, and a complaint was filed against him.
